The new Kawasaki 2014 MY Versys 1000 has a 4-stroke in-line four 1043cc engine capable of delivering 118 horsepower and 102 Nm of torque.

The next-generation KYB 43 mm inverted fork makes the suspension more responsive to whatever type of roads one may choose to ride it on. Also, the aluminum twin-tube frame is narrow and allows better grip in the knee area, making it more comfortable and easier to handle. Paired to a wide, rigid-mount handlebar, it makes it easy to maneuver even at low speed.

Able to accommodate a hefty amount of luggage, the liter-class Versys is also a glorious touring machine for long-range trips.

The 2015 MY Kawasaki Versys 1000 ABS was specifically designed to keep the rider behind the bars for as long as possible. Whether one chooses to take it around the corner on his daily commute or across the globe, solo or two-up, this one-liter is up for the job.

The upright position of the rider is comfortable, and mean one can physically withstand longer hauls with ease while the aluminum chassis and sporty 17" wheels mean more aggressive riding, if the mood suits.

The 3-mode Kawasaki Traction Control(KTRC) ensures optimum traction on all types of roads, dry or wet. It can also be turned-off for a more "hands-on" approach if one chooses to ride "the old school way".
