The Kawasaki ZL600 Eliminator was a in-line four, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 1986 and 1997. It could reach a top speed of 118 mph (190 km/h). Max torque was 33.93 ft/lbs (46.0 Nm) @ 7800 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 59.68 HP (44.5 KW) @ 10500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 60.0mm bore x 52.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 593.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 150/80-15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a 37mm Kayaba air assisted forks while the rear was equipped with a Dual shocks adjustable for rebound and preload damping. The ZL600 Eliminator was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 440.92 pounds (200.0 Kg).
1986 - 1994 Kawasaki ZL 600[edit | edit source]
Even if the first Eliminator bike was produced in 1985, Kawasaki launched multiple different ZL models depending on their displacement: 1000cc, 600cc, 500cc, 400cc.
