The Kawasaki ZX-12R Ninja was a in-line four, four-stroke Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 2000 and 2003. It could reach a top speed of 191 mph (308 km/h). Max torque was 98.91 ft/lbs (134.1 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 171.92 HP (128.2 KW) @ 10500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 83.0mm bore x 55.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1199.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 m/c 58w front tire and a 200/50-zr17 m/c 75w rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Up-side down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a UNI-TRAK gas single-shock. The ZX-12R Ninja was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 469.58 pounds (213.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.

Thanks to its in-line four engine installed by Kawasaki, the ZX-12R super sport motorcycle is able to reach a top speed of 320 km/h.
