The Kawasaki ZX-14R Special Edition was a Four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four valve per cylinder, inline-four Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Kawasaki in 2012. Max torque was 114.33 ft/lbs (155.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 190.02 HP (141.7 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

A 83.8mm bore x 83.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1441.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/50 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual semi-floating 310 mm petal discs with dual radial-mounted four-piston calipers in the front and a Single 250mm petal disc with twin-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm inverted cartridge fork with adjustable preload, 18-way compression and 15-way rebound damping adjustment / 4.6 in. while the rear was equipped with a Bottom-link Uni-Trak and gas-charged shock with adjustable preload, stepless rebound and compression damping adjustments, adjustable ride height / 4.9 in.. The wheelbase was 58.31 inches (1481 mm) long.
