The front suspension was a Cartridge forks while the rear was equipped with a Bottom-link Uni-Trak rising rate monoshock. The ZX-9R Ninja was fitted with a 4.76 Gallon (18.00 Liters) fuel tank. Available in three colors, red, blue and green, the 2000 model of the Kawasaki ZX-9R Ninja was able to reach a top speed of 280 km/h.
