The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 50.0mm bore x 51.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 112.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

It came with a 90/90-10 front tire and a 90/90-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The 2013 MY Kymco Compagno 110i sports a fuel-injected, air-cooled, four-stroke, 112cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It comes standard with front and under-seat storage compartments, a helmet hook, folding passenger footrest, pillion grab handles, a low, 29" seat height, and an instrumentation panel that includes a speedometer, an odometer, a fuel gauge and a clock.
