The Kymco Downtown 300i was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Kymco between 2011 and 2017. It could reach a top speed of 89 mph (144 km/h). Max torque was 18.0 ft/lbs (24.4 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 28.83 HP (21.5 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 299.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/80-14 front tire and a 150/70-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks, upper and lower triple tree while the rear was equipped with a 5 position adjustable dual shocks. The Downtown 300i was fitted with a 3.33 Gallon (12.60 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 365.97 pounds (166.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 60.83 inches (1545 mm) long.
