The Kymco Yup 250 was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves scooter produced by Kymco between 2004 and 2008. Max torque was 16.23 ft/lbs (22.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 19.98 HP (14.9 KW) @ 6750 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves. A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 251.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

The bike has a CVT transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 140/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 220mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the front and a single 200mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The bike weighed just 348.33 pounds (158.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.

At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 251cc, single cylinder powerplant that can produce 20 horsepower and 22 Nm of torque. It comes standard with a disc-based braking system both in the front and the rear, telescopic forks and a rear shock absorber as a suspension package and alloy rims.
