The bike has a gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/60 ZR17 front tire and a 160/60 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 320mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc 2 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Paioli Racing inverted adjustable preload, rebound & compression damping while the rear was equipped with a Paioli monoshock adjustable spring preload, rebound & compression damping. The 750 Carenata was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank.

The 1998 MY Laverda 750 Carenata sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 747cc, parallel twin cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission that can produce 85 horsepower and 75 Nm of torque. It is one of the most powerful 750's available on the market, and comes with race-derived parts such as a Paioli Racing upside-down fork in the front, a Paioli monoshock in the rear, as well as a Brembo braking system composed of dual 320 mm discs with 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc with a 2-piston caliper in the rear.
