The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, pushrod, 2 valve. The engine featured a 8.5:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2 75- 18 front tire and a 2.75- 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 150mm Drum in the front and a 123mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic mechanical and hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm with hydraulic shocks. The 125 Turismo Rapido Sport was fitted with a 12 Liters / 3.1 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 102 kg / 224.8 lbs. The wheelbase was 1285 mm / 50.5 in long.

MV Agusta Turismo Rapido Sport
The Turismo Rapido series opened a new generation of 125cc 4
stroke engines, considered more interesting and with better performance than
2 strokes.
The TR was offered in several variants, one of which was the Sport that
differed in the lowered position of the handlebar.
The engine was slightly more powerful (8 instead of 6.5hp). The color was
red.
