The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valve. The engine featured a 6.5:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.50x17 second series 2.75x19 front tire and a 3.50x17 second series 2.75x19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 160mm Drum in the front and a 140mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Hydraulic telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a swingarm with hydraulic shocks. The 175 Turismo CSTL was fitted with a 14 Liters / 3.7 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 110 kg / 242 lbs. The wheelbase was 1280 mm / 50.3 in long.

MV Agusta 175 Torismo CSTL
This model is particularly important in MV Agustas history: it is the first production motorcycle to feature a 4 stroke engine. It was a very important step towards a newgeneration of extremely interesting engines. The single overhead cam distribution was very advanced and the performance was very good. The version with 17 wheels had black frame, fork and shocks with olive drab tank and fenders. The version with 19 wheels was completely black with a red tank.
