The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, parallel twin, pushrod, 2 valve per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.0:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet multiple plate clutch.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75- 18 front tire and a 3.25- 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 180mm Drum in the front and a 150mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm with hydraulic shocks. The 250 Bicilindrico was fitted with a 13 Liters / 3.4 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 142 kg / 313 lbs. The wheelbase was 1300 mm / 51.2 in long.

The new 250 guaranteed high levels of performance and it was also aesthetically pleasing. The color was light blue, the gas tank had chromed highlights and rubber knee pads. It looked similar to the enormous 600 4 cylinder presented the previous year, and this made the 250 even more fascinating. Ablack color scheme with a red or black gas tank was also presented.
