It addresses those riders who still want a powerful naked machine, but to still be able to enjoy the scenery once in a while. While it shares the same 1078cc in-line four cylinder engine with its more powerful sibling, it has been tweaked to produce a more manageable 144 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque, which can be restricted even more from the factory to 99 horsepower and 103 Nm of torque.

It comes standard with technologies such as a traction control unit with 8 levels of intervention, as well as a race-derived parts such as the 50 mm Marzocchi adjustable inverted fork, or the Sachs rear monoshock.

The 2013 MY MV Agusta Brutale is the most affordable in the 1090 class from Schiranna, as well as the most well-mannered machine from the Italian brand. Even though it shares its engine with the rest of its siblings, and produces the same 144 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque, the suspension package and braking system are a little less performance-oriented, which make it harder to control at high speeds. But if you are a Gusta fan who wants a well-mannered, yet still gritty naked machine, than this might just be the right choice for you.

At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1078cc, in-line four cylinder powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 144 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque.

As all the 1090 models, it comes standard with traction control that can be adjusted by eight levels, the Marzocchi 50 mm inverted front fork and the Sachs rear monoshock. Unlike its previous embodiments, the 2013 MY comes with radial calipers on the front brake, which offer a plus on the safety side of things.
