The MV Agusta Brutale 800 was a in-line three, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by MV Agusta between 2013 and 2018. It could reach a top speed of 147 mph (237 km/h). Max torque was 61.22 ft/lbs (83.0 Nm) @ 7600 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 113.58 HP (84.7 KW) @ 11600 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a oil & air cooled in-line three, four-stroke. A 79.0mm bore x 54.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 798.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-disc with mechanical drive.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating disc, 4-piston. bremo. in the front and a single disc. abs. 4-piston. bremo. in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi upside down telescopic hydraulic fork with rebound-compression damping and spring preload external and separate adjustment while the rear was equipped with a progressive sachs, single shock absorber with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment. The Brutale 800 was fitted with a 4.39 Gallon (16.60 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 385.81 pounds (175.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.12 inches (1400 mm) long.

The 2013 MY MV Agusta Brutale 800 is the latest addition to the Schiranna naked line-up, and comes with a new liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 798cc, in-line three cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 125 horsepower and 81 Nm of torque. In addition, the engine uses a counter-rotating crankshaft, which the first model to use this feature, aside from the MotoGP machines.

Also, this two-wheeler comes with the acclaimed Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System (MVICS), an eight-level traction control, an adjustable 43 mm inverted front fork and racing radial calipers on the front brakes.
