The MZ 1000 S was a twin, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 2003 and 2009. It could reach a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Max torque was 70.07 ft/lbs (95.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 114.52 HP (85.4 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 96.0mm bore x 69.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 999.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 180/55-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a upside-down fork while the rear was equiped with a central suspension strut. The 1000 S was fitted with a 5.28 Gallon (20.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 462.97 pounds (210.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.89 inches (1445 mm) long.

The 2004 MY MZ 1000S is one of the most powerful machines designed by the German engineers. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 996cc, parallel twin cylinder powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can produce 117 horsepower and 98 Nm of torque.

This machine also boasts race-derived features such as the Marzocchi upside-down telescopic fork, the Sachs adjustable monoshock in the rear, dual 320mm front disc brakes with 4-piston Brembo calipers, and an Electronic Fuel Injection system.

The MZ 1000 S model is a Sport bike manufactured by MZ. In this version sold from year 2008, the dry weight is 210.0 kg (463.0 pounds) and it is equiped with a Twin, four-stroke motor. The engine produces a maximum peak output power of 115.32 HP (84.2 kW) @ 9000 RPM and a maximum torque of 95.00 Nm (9.7 kgf-m or 70.1 ft.lbs) @ 7000 RPM.
