The MZ ES250 was a twin, two-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 1964 and 1969. Claimed horsepower was 17.17 HP (12.8 KW) @ 5300 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 65.0mm bore x 70.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 250.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.1:1 compression ratio.

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.25-16 front tire and a 3.50-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The ES250 was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 357.15 pounds (162.0 Kg).
