The MZ 125 SM Gangsta was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by MZ between 2001 and 2009. It could reach a top speed of 68 mph (110 km/h). Max torque was 8.63 ft/lbs (11.7 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 14.48 HP (10.8 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

A 60.0mm bore x 44.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopi fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The 125 SM Gangsta was fitted with a 3.3 Gallon (12.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 285.5 pounds (129.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.
