The Malaguti Drakon NKD50 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Malaguti between 2006 and 2007. It could reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 8.85 HP (6.6 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 40.3mm bore x 39.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 50.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multi-disc oil bathed clutch.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a inverted forks while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The Drakon NKD50 was fitted with a 2.64 Gallon (10.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 246.92 pounds (112.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.17 inches (1325 mm) long.
