The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, 90° V twin, longitudinally mounted, OHV pushrod, 2 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 10.2:1 compression ratio.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 3.5H-18 front tire and a 4.10V-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 300mm discs in the front and a Single 242mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Swinging arm, 5-WAY adjustable coil springs preload. The 850 Le Mans Mark I was fitted with a 22.5 Liters / 5.9 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 198 kg / 435 lbs. The wheelbase was 1470 mm / 57.9 in long.
