A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 829.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 4 Speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 4.10-19 front tire and a 4.10-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single Disc in the front and a Single Disc in the rear.

1975 - 1978 Norton Commando 850 Interstate MK3[edit | edit source]

The 850cc MK3 Commando was launched in March 1975. For the first time, it was fitted with an electric starter. At that time there were only two Norton models on the road, the "Mk.3 Interstate" and the "Roadster".
