It came with a 100/80 -10in front tire and a 120/70 -10in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 175 mm disc in the front and a 110 mm drum in the rear. The 2012 MY Piaggio Zip 50 Special Edition 2-stroke is a scooter designed especially for the fairer sex among Piaggio fans, with graphics that appeal to the sensitive side. This version sports an ecological, air-cooled, two-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder HI-PER4 lump mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The low seat height, and the plush riding position, make this machine a favorite among younger riders. In addition, the seat height can be adjusted to three positions, meaning it can accommodate a larger variety of riders, no matter their inseam.
