2011 - 2013 Piaggio Zip 50 Special Edition 4-stroke[edit | edit source]

For fans who want the unmistakable sound of a four-stroke engine, the engineers from Piaggio have launched the 2012 MY Piaggio Zip 50 Special Edition 4-stroke. It shares its innards with the two-stroke limited edition, except for its engine. It sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder HI-PER4 lump mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). As the two-stroke version, it has special graphics that appeal to the more sensitive riders, and is a favorite among Piaggio female fans.
