The Rieju Motors SMX 50 was a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single cylinder Supermotard motorcycle produced by Rieju Motors between 2003 and 2009.

A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 50.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/90-21 front tire and a 110/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260mm disc in the front and a single 200mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 36mm Paioli telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The wheelbase was 52.4 inches (1331 mm) long.

The 2003 MY Rieju Motors SMX 50 sports a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 50cc, single cylinder lump mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Performance and safety alike are enhanced thanks to its 260mm front and 200mm rear disc brakes, and induction is ensured by a Dell'Orto PHBN 16 carburetor.
