The SYM GTS/JOYMAX 300i EVO was a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled scooter produced by SYM in 2014. Max torque was 17.7 ft/lbs (24.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 23.07 HP (17.2 KW) @ 7500 RPM. It could reach a top speed of 128 km/h / 80 mph.

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Single cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, SOHC, FI. The engine featured a 10:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Centrifugal, dry type.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/90-13 56P tubeless front tire and a 130/70-13 57P tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Hydraulic disc, 240 mm, ABS in the front and a Hydraulic disc, 220 mm, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Twin sided swing arm. The GTS/Joymax 300i evo was fitted with a 12 L / 3.2 US gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1495 mm / 58.9 in. long.

GTS 125 / 250 / 300 EVO: With the great success of GTS 250, SYM decide to develop a higher standard version. The major improvement is to tune up GTS 250 to GTS 300.


Moreover, we changed its appearance from single head light to twin head light. That is not only for powerful looks but also provides better vision in the dark.


To sum up, several outstanding features of GTS EVO are as follows:

1. Level up: GTS has been modified from 250 up to 300.

2. Fashionable look: Large twin head light as phoenix eye lighting its unique style.

3. Excellent handling: 1440 mm a long wheel base length, it offers high stability for high speed.

4. Large storage: luggage box is able to accommodate two helmets.

5. Convenience: Various convenience designs such as pop up fuel cap, electronic seat opener, coin box etc.
