The Sherco 2.5 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Sherco between 2002 and 2008.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 72.8mm bore x 69.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.7 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the hydraulically activated multidisc in oil bath.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a ceriani 38 mm. dia hydraulic telescope fork, 185 mm travel fully adjustable for preload and dampening. black low friction coating while the rear was equipped with a progressive link system with single olle adjustable shock absorber, 175 mm travel. The 2.5 was fitted with a 0.77 Gallon (2.90 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 153.22 pounds (69.5 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.05 inches (1322 mm) long.
