A 81.3mm bore x 81.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 645.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6 Speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/80 R19 M/C 59H, tubeless front tire and a 150/70 R17 M/C 69H, tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Dual hydraulic discs, ABS in the front and a Single hydraulic disc, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a Link type, coil spring, oil damped. The wheelbase was 61.18 inches (1554 mm) long.

The 2009 MY V-Strom 650SEA ABS Touring is not exactly a new model per se, but more of a special trim Suzuki offers rider in search of a bike that;s ready to go past the state line right form the crate. This means that the base V-Strom 650 receives ABS, a black coat of paint for both frame and swingarm, generous plastic panniers in a matching color with the bike, and a top case. The adjustable windscreen is also part of the deal and it will add extra comfort during long trips.
