Engine

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, 90°-V-twin, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder.. The engine featured a 11.2:1 compression ratio.

Drive

Power was moderated via the Wet, multiple discs, cable operated.

Chassis

V-Strom 'VOYAGER' PACK NOW AVAILABLE

Following the popularity of the current Tourer, Adventure and GT accessory packs for the V-Strom 650, Suzuki has announced the availability of a new Voyager accessory pack for the middleweight adventure bike.

Created by carefully selecting the most popular accessories that appeal most to customers, the new accessory pack includes luggage in the form of an aluminum pannier kit, with a combined capacity of 82 Liters and a detachable dry roll bag, with a 35 litre capacity.

Accessories also featured include a Vario touring screen, hand guards, under cowling, accessory bars and tank protector.

Andy Taylor, Suzuki GB's Accessories Manager, commented, "The existing accessory packs have proved very popular with existing V-Strom customers, making adding accessories and that level of customisation that bit easier. By combining all of the accessories that are the most popular with customers, the new Voyager pack provides an even greater level of affordability and practicality."

Features Aluminum panniers with a combined volume of 82 Liters . A detachable dry roll bag that adds a further 35 Liters of luggage capacity. Hand guards. A larger Vario touring screen. Accessory bars, which protect the radiator side cowls. A tank protector. A lower engine cowling.
