The Suzuki DR 125S was a Air Cooled, Four Strokes, Single Cylinder, SOHC, 4 Valves per Cylinder Trial motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1982. Max torque was 6.64 ft/lbs (9.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 13.01 HP (9.7 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

A 56.9mm bore x 56.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 70/100-21 front tire and a 90/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Air/oil Telescopic Forks while the rear was equipped with a Gas/oil Full Floater, Preload And Damping Adjustable. The wheelbase was 52.99 inches (1346 mm) long.

1982 - 1994 Suzuki DR 125S[edit | edit source]

The DR 125S was presented as a 1982 year's model, suitable as an entry-level enduro bike. As for some other DR models, the DR 125S available in different versions. At first, there were the pure trail version, DR 125, with no license plate holder or mirrors, and the DR 125S, a street-legal version of the same bike. In 1994 an electric starter was added, and the street legal version's name was changed to DR 125SE.
