The Suzuki GF 250 was a Air/liquid Cooled, Four Stroke, Transverse Four Cylinder, DOHC, 4 Valves Per Cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1986. Max torque was 16.96 ft/lbs (23.0 Nm) @ 10500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 41.04 HP (30.6 KW) @ 12500 RPM.

A 43.9mm bore x 43.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/90-16 front tire and a 110/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Disc in the front and a Disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Mono shock. The wheelbase was 53.9 inches (1369 mm) long.

It made its debut as the succeeding model of the FW model, which was the first 250cc class bike to adopt a 4-cylinder. Type S with a half cowl was added. It raised its engine power, upgraded its suspension, and adopted double disc for its front brake.
