2013 Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa ABS[edit | edit source]
As its name already says, the 2013 MY GSX-1300R Hayabusa ABS is delivered with standard ABS and is Suzuki's first bike in the sport range to offer this technology. Radial Brembo monoblock front brake calipers are also standard, and they sport bigger pistons for more feedback. The new Hayabusa offers three selectable engine maps, and the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) back-torque-limiting clutch for smoother operation and safer downshifting.
Multiple other refinements made the engine more reliable, while extensive wind tunnel testing also improved aerodynamics.
2014 Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa ABS[edit | edit source]
Hayabusa continues to stand as one of the most spectacular hypersport bikes in modern times, and the 2014 model year lives up to the ever-growing expectations. The bike recently received racing-inspired monoblock Brembo calipers for the front brakes, and they offer top-spec trak-derived performance for both closed circuit and street riding. The braking system was also enhances by the addition of ABS.
Suzuki also added a three-mode driving mode selector for perfect compliance with various riding conditions and rider preferences, but retained the hybrid dahsboard combining analog gauges for speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and water temperature and digital indicators.
2015 Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa ABS[edit | edit source]
Suzuki tweaked a bit the 2015 MY Hayabusa, and even though it's hard to make dramatic improvements to such a piece of machinery, the new bike is a tad better than the previous versions. The Brembo monoblock radial-mount front calipers got bigger pistons for more stopping power and an increased feeling of being in control when braking at any speed. The standard ABS introduces yet another degree of safety and control and is a most welcome addition to this hyperbike.
Hayabusa riders cam now choose from three riding modes and a hybrid dashboard comprising 4 easy-to-read analog gauges plus multiple digital readings. Race-derived KYB forks are also standard.
