The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, TSCC. The engine featured a 13.2:1 compression ratio.

Power was moderated via the Hydraulically-actuated multiplate wet clutch..
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) tubeless front tire and a 190/50 ZR17 M/C (73W), tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 320mm Discs radial mount Brembo 4-piston calipers in the front and a Single 220mm disc, Nissin,1-piston in the rear. The front suspension was a Inverted telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a Link type, coil spring, oil damped. The GSX-R1000R Buildbase BSB Replica L.E. was fitted with a 16 Liters / 3.5 US gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1410mm / 55.5 in long.

Suzuki GB have produced 50 limited editions of this Suzuki GSX-R1000R Buildbase Replica. Each bike will have a numbered fuel tank. They have the same color graphics as the BSB and Superstock 1000 race machines of Bradley Ray, Richard Cooper, and Billy McConnell wich are raced in the 2018 BSB championship. The GSX-R1000R has Yoshimura parts like a R11 SQ exhaust, Also a bunch of genuine Suzuki accessories are fitted like engine case savers, brake and clutch lever guards, paddock stand bobbins, double-bubble screen, pillion seat cowl, and tank protector and fuel cap trim. It will also come with a Suzuki-branded Ogio kit bag, paddock stand, bike cover, and GSX-R garage mat.
