The Suzuki RF900R was a in-line four, four-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by Suzuki between 1994 and 1999. It could reach a top speed of 162 mph (260 km/h). Max torque was 73.76 ft/lbs (100.0 Nm) @ 9000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 132.09 HP (98.5 KW) @ 10000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 72.9mm bore x 72.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 937.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 170/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm Telescopic Forks while the rear was equipped with a Single Shock. The RF900R was fitted with a 5.55 Gallon (21.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 447.54 pounds (203.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.69 inches (1440 mm) long.

The Suzuki RF 900R first appeared in 1994 and it was designed as a sports-tourer the Suzuki RF 900R is equipped with firm suspension which is at its best when riding with a pillion. The four piston Nissin brakes provide more than enough stopping power for the RF 900R.
