The Suzuki RG 125 GAMMA was a Two stroke, single cylinder, crankcase reed valve Naked motorcycle produced by Suzuki in 1985. Max torque was 14.01 ft/lbs (19.0 Nm) @ 8500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 24.94 HP (18.6 KW) @ 9500 RPM. It could reach a top speed of 111 km/h / 69 mph.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Two stroke, single cylinder, crankcase reed valve. The engine featured a 7.4:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate type.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/100 S16 front tire and a 90/90 S18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 230 mm disc in the front and a 130 mm Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 30 mm Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Single shock linkage. The RG125 Gamma was fitted with a 12 Liters / 3.2 US gal / 2.6 Imp gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 96 kg / 209 lbs. The wheelbase was 1310 mm / 51.6 in long.


1985 - 1991 Suzuki RG 125 GAMMA[edit | edit source]

RG125 Gamma was introduced in Europe at IFMA '84, the International Bike Show in Cologne, West-Germany, in late 1984. The bike at the show had only a 80cc engine and the 125cc version was to be introduced later. There's nearly no market at all for 125cc motorcycles in West Germany but the 80cc bikes sold very well.
