Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, 90°-V-twin, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. The engine featured a 11.2:1 compression ratio.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17M/C 58W, tubeless front tire and a 160/60 ZR17M/C 69W, tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 290 mm Discs, 2 piston calipers, / ABS in the front and a Single 240 mm disc, 1 piston caliper, / ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a Monoshock, link type, coil spring, oil damped, spring preload 7-step adjustable. The SV650 Scrambler was fitted with a 14.5 Liters / 3.8 US gal / 3.2 Imp gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 197 kg / 434 lbs. The wheelbase was 1445 mm / 56.9 in long.

Suzuki launched a stylised version of the SV650 that is only available in France. The SV650 Scrambler has been fitted with various accessories to make it stand out from the base model. To make it more capable off-road, the Scrambler has been fitted with Dunlop Mutant tires, wider LSL handlebars and larger footpegs. Mechanically here are no differences between the Scrambler and standard SV650. SV650 Scrambler features: - Bagster brown saddle with stitching - plate holder with LED lighting - Dunlop Mutant tires - wide matt black LSL handlebars - small wind aluminum deflector - headlight protector - aluminum scoops - short alloy front mudguard - radiator guards - small LED indicators - aluminum chain guard - large black footpegs
