It came with a 2.75-18 front tire and a 90/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulically damped telescopic suspension while the rear was equipped with a rectangular box swing arm, 5-step adjustable shock absorber, triple rated spring. The Fiero FX was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 273.37 pounds (124.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.0 inches (1270 mm) long.
