Mhof at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame

This template inserts an external link to the biography of an inducted motorcycle racer at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame.

Options

The required parameter is simply the ID number:

Detailed instructions

1. Go to http://www.motorcyclemuseum.org/halloffame/halloffame.asp and search for the person you want (e.g. Wayne Rainey).
2. Click on Wayne Rainey from the search results list. Be aware that the rider's name being searched may appear in other riders biographies in the Motorcycle Hall of Fame. Be sure to click the correct link.
3. You then reach the page with a URL that looks like http://www.motorcyclemuseum.org/halloffame/hofbiopage.asp?id=86. Note the number at the end of the URL following the equal sign (=) - It may be 2 or 3 digits.
4. Copy only that number (here, "86"), omitting the remainder of the URL.
5. Replace "id" in the template code with the number.

You will then have:

* {{mhof|86}} resulting in:

• Wayne Rainey at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame

6. Should the article title contain disambiguation information (e.g. Scott Russell (motorcyclist)), enter the template code as follows:
