A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 865.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/90-16 front tire and a 170/80 B15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 310 mm in the front and a Single disc 285 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Kayaba telescopic forks, polished stainless steel shrouds while the rear was equipped with a Kayaba chrome spring twin shocks adjustable preload. The wheelbase was 63.39 inches (1610 mm) long.
2017 Triumph AMERICA LIMITED EDITION[edit | edit source]
The bikes are so limited that Triumph will be creating just 25 of each, with every bike being sequentially numbered and coming with a certificate of authenticity bearing Triumph-owner John Bloor’s signature. The America and America LT are powered by Triumph's 865cc parallel twin engines that produce 65 HP and 72 Nm (53.10 ft-lb) of torque. America covers the basic middleweight touring necessities, whereas the LT offers a richer trim.
