The Triumph Sprint GT Special Edition was a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, transverse three cylinder, DOHC, 12 valves Sport touring motorcycle produced by Triumph between 2014 and 2015. Max torque was 79.66 ft/lbs (108.0 Nm) @ 6300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 127.93 HP (95.4 KW) @ 9200 RPM.

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1050.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 320mm discs 4 piston calipers. ABS in the front and a single 255mm disc 2 piston caliper. ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a Showa 43mm cartridge forks with dual rate springs and adjustable preload while the rear was equipped with a Showa monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping. The wheelbase was 60.51 inches (1537 mm) long.

The 2014 MY Triumph Sprint GT Special Edition sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1050cc transverse three cylinder engine, that produces 128 horsepower and 108 Nm of torque, which translates into more than enough pull, in a wide range of scenarios, without having to downshift.

Features like standard ABS, Showa 43mm cartridge forks and a rear monoshock, the comfortable riding position and the full fairing add to make the Sprint GT a great touring bike. The bike is delivered in a tour-ready trim, with saddlebags and various other small things that make life on two wheels better, even when thousands of miles away from home.
