The Ural M70 was a two cylinder boxer, four-stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Ural between 2011 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 65 mph (105 km/h). Max torque was 42.04 ft/lbs (57.0 Nm) @ 4300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 40.1 HP (29.9 KW) @ 5500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled two cylinder boxer, four-stroke. A 78.0mm bore x 78.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 749.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, dual disk.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.50-18 front tire and a 3.50-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. bremo, 4 piston with floating rotor in the front and a single disc. bremo in the rear. The front suspension was a 40mm marzocchi telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a double sided swing-arm with two sachs hydraulic spring shock absorbers, 5x adjustable. The M70 was fitted with a 5.5 Gallon (20.82 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 710.11 pounds (322.1 Kg).

The 2011 MY Ural M70 Anniversary Edition has been created to celebrate 70 years since the Irbit Motorcycle Factory started manufacturing Ural motorcycles, and comes in two versions, with and without sidecars. At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 749cc, opposed twin cylinder engine paired to a four-speed manual transmission, and can produce 41 horsepower and 57 Nm of torque. It also comes standard with all the features found on the base M70, but with a special paint scheme and Anniversary badges.

The 2013 MY Ural M70 Retro is a classic-styled, sidecar motorcycle designed to fit the taste of the more nostalgic among riders, without losing the comfort and safety provided by modern technologies and materials. It comes standard with a powder-coat finish, a black cordura tonneau cover, a Marzocchi traditional telescopic fork as a front suspension, a modern, Brembo full floating disc as a front braking system, for extra safety, and a sidecar mounted spare wheel.

In the tech/engine department, it sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, opposed twin cylinder powerplant paired to a four-speed manual transmission with reverse, and can reach a maximum power output of 40 horsepower and 52 Nm of torque.

The 2014 MY Ural M70 comes standard with a rear trunk, for extra storage space, a spare tire, laced wheels, a new, hydraulic steering dampener, an EElectronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system and a high-end suspension package composed of a Marzocchi telescopic fork in the front and Sachs shocks in the rear and in the sidecar.
