The engine was a air cooled air-cooled, four-stroke, opposed twin cylinder, OHV, 2 valves per cylinder. A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 749.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

The bike has a chain transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, dual disc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 19 front tire and a 19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Brembo full floating disc in the front and a mechanical drum in the rear. The front suspension was a leading link with Sachs hydraulic shock absorbers while the rear was equipped with a adjustable Sachs shock absorbers. The 2011 MY Ural Taiga sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 749cc, boxer twin cylinder powerhouse paired to a four-speed manual transmission with reverse, and can reach a maximum power output of 40 horsepower and 52 Nm of torque. It comes standard with a fork-mounted fairing with a windscreen, a spare wheel, front and rear luggage racks on the sidecar, laced wheels, and a black finish on its frame, forks, and rims.
