My name is John, a certified motorcycle nut-no, make that a fanatic! Spent several years working parts and accessories, then several more years in the shop as a wrench at a Local Honda Dealer, then I moved on to Harley-Davidson working for a dealer as a salesman, then went on for a few more years working at an Independent shop as once again a wrench. Spent a great deal of time building race engines and wrenching at the track with a racing team-we did pretty well too! My area of expertise is on Japanese bikes from 1968 to 1980 or so. I also have quite a bit of experience with old BMW Airheads and flying bricks-and yes, Harley shovelheads and sportsters.

I went to to pursue a real carrier and now work as an engineer for a group of very prestigious radio stations in the greater bay area. I love what I do now and motorcycles are a hobby. All the machines I have run and can be ridden, and regularly are. I will usually get a non running motorcycle it's all there and make a winter project out of it each year.
