Van Veen OCR was a 2 disc rotary engine a '498ccm equipped with what are obviously different category than the Suzuki RE-5 or comparatively small Hercules W2000 for the 100 PS of the Van Veen has been a special experience.

The maximum allowed speed is min 6500 rpm, and then present the highest performance, the engine could technically turn is much higher but limited when Wankel mainly by the performance of the cooling system, ie the Wankel would then overheat and not mechanically rotate.

This power is sufficient for speeds beyond 210 km / h is available in tests and 218km / h were measured.
