The Vespa 100 SPORT was a Single cylinder, two stroke, air cooled scooter produced by Vespa in 1978. Claimed horsepower was 0.94 HP (0.7 KW) @ 5200 RPM.

A 48.3mm bore x 48.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 96.1 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 3-Speed, constant mesh transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The wheelbase was 46.5 inches (1181 mm) long.
1978 - 1993 Vespa 100 SPORT[edit | edit source]
Deriving from the Vespa 90, the 100 Sport model was developed due to legislation for mopeds in the American market. The rear lights, in particular, are larger. The capacity increase from 90 to 100 cc was achieved by increasing the cylinder bore.
