The Vespa GTS 300 i.e. Super Sport SE was a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder scooter produced by Vespa between 2013 and 2014. Max torque was 16.23 ft/lbs (22.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 21.99 HP (16.4 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

A 76.2mm bore x 76.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 278.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal, automatic.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120 / 70-12in front tire and a 130 / 70-12in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 220 mm disc in the front and a 220 mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a single arm, dual chamber hydraulic shock absorber with coaxial spring while the rear was equipped with a two dual effect shock absorbers with adjustable preload. The wheelbase was 54.88 inches (1394 mm) long.

The 2013 MY Vespa GTS 300 i.e. Super Sport SE addresses those riders who want the best possible performance out of their Vespa, without affecting its timeless design and shape. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 278cc, single cylinder Quasar powerhouse mated to a continuous variable transmission, and can produce 21 horsepower and 22 Nm of torque.
