The engine was a Ram air cooling system cooled Four stroke, Single cylinder, SOHC, 3 valve.

Power was moderated via the Automatic, dry centrifuge with damper buffers.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/70-R11" front tire and a 120/70-R10" rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 220 mm disc in the front and a 110 mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Single sided training link with hydraulic shock absorber while the rear was equipped with a Hydraulic shock absorber. The LXV150IE was fitted with a 8.2 L / 2.2 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 102 kg / 225 lbs. The wheelbase was 1280 mm / 50.4 in long.

The LXV is built around the LX engine, a 150cc four-stroke engine that allows you to travel the highways with as much confidence as the city streets. The LXV now comes standard with a front and rear luggage racks, giving one ample room for groceries, gear and more.

The Vespa LXV 150 i.e., the smaller model in the “vintage” family, cleverly reinterprets some of the traditional design of the classic 60’s Vespa models, blending it with a sophisticated electronic fuel injection system and powerful modern engine. The clean 150cc running engine offers low fuel consumption, smooth power delivery and enhanced riding pleasure both in city traffic and on longer routes.
