The Vespa P125X was a Single cylinder, two stroke, air cooled scooter produced by Vespa in 1977. Max torque was 7.38 ft/lbs (10.0 Nm) @ 4500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 8.05 HP (6.0 KW) @ 5800 RPM.

A 53.3mm bore x 53.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 123.4 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 4-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.5x10 front tire and a 3.5x10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Helical spring and double acting hydraulic dampers while the rear was equipped with a Helical spring and double acting hydraulic dampers. The wheelbase was 49.21 inches (1250 mm) long.

Vespa P125X was presented in 1977 at the Milan Motorcycles Exhibition as the Vespa New Line. This model offers a better driving comfort, the storage is larger, and the foam polyurethane saddle is more comfortable.
