The Vespa S 150 i.e. was a air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder Leader scooter produced by Vespa between 2008 and 2014. It could reach a top speed of 59 mph (95 km/h). Max torque was 8.11 ft/lbs (11.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 11.94 HP (8.9 KW) @ 7750 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder Leader. A 63.5mm bore x 63.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 150.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal, automatic.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110 / 70-11in front tire and a 120 / 70-10in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 200 mm steel disc in the front and a 110 mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a single arm with coil spring and dual effect hydraulic single shock absorber while the rear was equipped with a coil spring and dual effect single shock absorber. The S 150 i.e. was fitted with a 2.27 Gallon (8.60 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 211.64 pounds (96.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.98 inches (1295 mm) long.

The 2009 MY Vespa S 150 shares the same design and looks with its smaller displacement, S 50 sibling. At its heart lies a more gritty, air-cooled, four-stroke, 150cc, single cylinder Leader engine mated to a continuously variable transmission, and can produce 10 horsepower and 11 Nm of torque. Also, it can be purchased with three paint schemes, Montebianco White, Shiny Black or Dragon red, and can be personalized, if the customer chooses, with six graphic kits, "Flowers" Silver or Red, "Sport" Red or White and "Flags" Italy or UK.
