In a way easy to mistake for the Zuma, the 2008 MY BW's shows off Yamaha's skills when it comes to creating all-rounder scooters which feel at home on road and beyond the point when the asphalt ends. With dual-sport-ish tires, the BW's is not afraid to venture on less trodden paths, especially as its suspensions are tuned to handle a bit of roughness, too.

The 2-stroke 49cc air-cooled engine packs enough punch to keep things funny and make the 2008 MY BW's a great machine for all-rounder convenience, form urban commuting to weekend outings.

The 2009 BW's carries on the nifty heritage of the family, packing exceptional streetability and even decent traction on rough terrain. A true dual-purpose scoot, the BW's arrives with fork gaiters, beefy tires with dirt-capable knobs, dual headlights and a rugged construction which can tackle less-than-perfect terrain.

The 2-stroke engine has an autolube oil injector making pre-mixing obsolete and adding more fun to riding this machine, while the easy-to-use automatic transmission makes it a great choice even for less experienced users.

Since the 50cc Zuma went 4-stroke, it was only natural that its BW's sibling did so, too. This scoot is equipped with an all-new engine which eliminates the need to add oil to the fuel, runs smoother and is capable of providing the same fuel efficiency and street brawler feeling. The beefy moderate knobbie tires and compliant suspension has been retained as well, together with the overall robust nature of this machine.

Better mass centralization, storage optimization and minor tweaks are making the 2011 MY BW's and even better machine than its predecessors, a perfect choice for both urban commuting and weekend outings in the wild.

The 2012 Yamaha BW's is the basic model in the series, boasting a simple construction oriented towards the best functionality and fun riding. Great for beginners, the BW's is also a nifty commuting solution for more seasoned riders: why struggle aboard a large cruiser in the slow traffic when you can simply zoom by, squeezing through narrow spaces and reach your destination more quickly and with a smile on your face?

Exceptional fuel efficiency and operating costs are another great features of this 2-stroke 49cc scooter: fill the tanks once and forget about them. And even more, thanks to the BW's trademark beefy tires, this scooter will also be fun off the paved road...
