The Yamaha Byson FI was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Yamaha in 2017. Max torque was 9.59 ft/lbs (13.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 12.61 HP (9.4 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, manual clutch, multiplate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80-m17 front tire and a 130/70-m17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equipped with a swing arm. The Byson FI was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 293.21 pounds (133.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.76 inches (1340 mm) long.
