The Yamaha DT 125RE was a Single cylinder, two stroke, liquid-cooled Enduro motorcycle produced by Yamaha in 1998. Max torque was 11.8 ft/lbs (16.0 Nm) @ 7000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 15.02 HP (11.2 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 123.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/90-21 front tire and a 110/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc 230 mm in the front and a Single disc 220 mm in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Monocross linkage. The wheelbase was 55.71 inches (1415 mm) long.
